Marvel star appears on show with "perfect" dress and internet goes wild
Recent behind-the-scenes photos have confirmed that the organization, a SHIELD counterpart specializing in protecting Earth from threats of extraterrestrial variety, will make its debut in the Marvel series.
Since its debut on the Marvel comics pages in 2004, SWORD has been overseen by Abigail Brand – a kind of green-haired Nick Fury with a unique lineage. Product of a union between an alien father and a mutant mother, Brand is only half-human, and in comics she has the mutant power to create blue bursts of energy powerful enough to incinerate most of the earth's metals.
Thanks to her father, she also has a strange-shaped language that allows her to talk in alien dialects impossible for humans.
Beloved Marvel Hero Finally Gets a Happy Ending
These MCU rumors are still to be treated as speculation, but if they do come true, Emma Stone would have her second chance at Marvel.
The actress played Gwen Stacy in The Spectacular Spider-Man and its sequel, when Andrew Garfield was the interpreter of Marvel's Web Head.
Although the films are not exactly loved by Marvel fans, Stone's acting and approach as Spider-Man's love interest has always been praised.
