Lucifer's fifth season production is in full swing and to help spread the word, sparking fan anxiety, Netflix released a behind-the-scenes video of the series' new year recordings. Watch below.
The final season of the series will be divided into two parts, each with eight episodes. In addition, it has been confirmed that the last year will have a musical episode.

Created by Tom Kapinos, the production revolves around Lucifer Morningstar, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell. He resigns his throne and abandons his reign to take a vacation in Los Angeles, where he starts a nightclub with the help of his demonic ally named Mazikeen. After a celebrity Lucifer helped achieve fame is murdered, he becomes involved with the Los Angeles police, where he begins to help Detective Chloe Decker solve murder cases and find those responsible so he can “punish” them. .
The cast also features Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, D.B. Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Scarlett Estevez, Rachael Harris and Aimee Garcia.
The fifth and final season opens this year. Previous seasons are available on Netflix.
