When it comes to content with darker subjects and scary tones, Netflix doesn't shy away. The streaming service is home to several horror projects, such as the popular Hill House Curse and the documentary series Talking with a Serial Killer: Ted Bundy.
Now Netflix is bringing even more frightening things, developing a series of documentaries that will focus and explore some of the most haunted places in the United States.
Netflix Releases New Subtitled Trailer From Its Dracula Production
As reported by Variety, the untitled project is by Ron Howard and Brian Grazers Imagine Entertainment and should be directed by Joe Berlinger. According to the report, the series will be a "bold and meticulous study of some of America's most notorious haunted places."
It is unclear exactly which locations are in mind for this series. But it is likely that there is no shortage of places the series can visit and explore, and while many of these sites have been the subject of further investigations into the scary and the paranormal, it will be interesting to see where the series chooses to go deeper, especially as deal with something new for the international public.
