German rapper Dr. Knarf, also known as Niko B., made his first public appearance after falling victim to an explosion in a drug lab. The 35-year-old artist posted a video on social networks revealing the injuries he sustained as a result of the incident: the musician eventually lost part of his head and got some burns on his face.
The explosion that Dr. Knarf was a victim of happened on February 6, 2017 and the artist has opted to stay away from the public ever since. On his first public appearance, the singer revealed that he also lost some of his body movements, but said he was confident of his recovery and promised to release a new album in 2020, titled "Prometheus".

'Prometheus' was the work Knarf had been working on at the time of the accident and was interrupted during his recovery. "The skin burns were nothing like what came next," said Dr. Knarf in the video, revealing that he ended up having a third of his body burned.
“I was in a coma for three months, during which time I had three strokes. My brain swelled so much that it was necessary for part of my skull to be removed, ”explained the musician.

The drug lab where the explosion that affected the musician took place was set up in the recording studio in his backyard. The rapper explained that the explosion ended up because of a combination of high concentration of cannabis extract with butane. In the video released by Knarf, he is responsible for the accident.
