The second episode of Season 3 of Westworld was released on HBO this Sunday night (22) and followed Maeve (Thandie Newton) as she tried to escape the newly revealed Warworld. While Maeve tried to get out of her new reality, Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) returned to Westworld to find her.
Bernard's goal was to recruit Maeve to help him prevent Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) from dominating the human world. During his search to find his fellow host, Bernard found an old friend, and it was revealed that this character, who has been involved with the series since the beginning, was a host all along.

While fans have long suspected that Ashley Stubbs (Luke Hemsworth) was a host, the last episode of the series officially confirmed the theory.
Bernard came across Ashley, who had tried to kill himself now that he no longer had a purpose and finally gave new meaning to the worn out host's existence. Bernard patches Ashley and recruits the former head of security to help him find Maeve.
