In the end, Peter appears at the party and declares himself to Lara Jean, who matches the boy's feelings. To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You break up with Peter and Lara together again.

The protagonist of For All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You really are in conflict with the presence of John Ambrose, who was an old childhood friend, but in the end, love for Peter speaks louder.

Netflix will adapt (probably next year), the third book in the Lara Jean series, entitled “Always and Forever, Lara Jean”. The new book must have the presence of John Ambrose, but not as often as the second one presents it.
